While there aren't many venues on the
mountain, the ones that are open are a blast. However, there are many
more places and things happening in Sandpoint than in Schweitzer. The
link above covers all the restaurants, events, and nightclubs in our
area.

TAPS LOUNGE - Taps Lounge, upstairs in the Lakeview Lodge, serves a full range of apres-ski drinks, from hot toddies to local beers. The place gets hopping on weekends with live bands. Friendly rivalries work themselves out in the back room over billiards, foosball and air hockey while tunes play on the jukebox. Jorge's Cantina, also upstairs in the Lakeview Lodge, serves fresh Mexican menu items during apres-ski to accompany your margarita or other favorite drink.
Taps serves all your apres ski needs - from hot toddies to cold beers. Live music on the weekends. Pool table, foosball, jukebox, air hockey in the back play area. Located in the upper level of the Lakeview Lodge. Must be 21.
CHIMNEY ROCK GRILL - in the Selkirk Lodge at the mountain, is the perfect place to lounge in comfy chairs near fireplaces while you drink local beers and regional wines. Afterwards, indulge yourselves with dinner at the award-winning restaurant.

THE SELKIRK LODGE - While there isn't a bar existing by the fireplace in the lodge, there is a fireplace and comfy places to sit, plus, for a fee, you can surf the net on the lodge's wifi. If you are staying in the lodge, you can order a cocktail or coffee from room service. Anyway, basically just a cool place to hang.
ST. BERNARD - Formally called The Keg, this new offering is next to the Chapel down the village a bit. 10 beers on tap, bottled beer, plus wine by the glass & bottle. Their goal is to provide good food at a fair price. Open from 2 -10 Sunday through Thursday and later on Friday and Saturdays. (The kitchen will be open until 11 on Fri & Sat.) The Longnecks are playing for the New Year's Eve party. Tickets will be sold in advance for that show.
